Overview
Music For Maryland: Queen Anne’s County
Invigorating music from around the world is sure to get your toes tapping and your heart pumping, from the earthy folk dances of Dvořák and Bartók to the debonair waltzes of Tchaikovsky and Strauss. A tango from Piazzolla channels sultry Buenos Aires, and the “Juba Dance” by Florence Price offers a window into the roots of Black culture. Even Beethoven gets in on the action with his dance-infused Seventh Symphony.
