Symphony in the City: Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine

Symphony in the City is always free, family-friendly, and open to all. To help close his historic inaugural season, Music Director Jonathon Heyward leads his first community concert and our third Symphony of the City event of the season – an outdoor concert at Baltimore’s own National Park, Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. The birthplace of the American national anthem, our performance centers around themes of unity and perseverance with special guests including BSO Artistic Partner Wordsmith, as well as members of BSO OrchKids and the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra. The BSO and National Park Service dedicate this performance to the lives lost, the first responders, and all committed to recovery and rebuilding the Key Bridge.

Symphony in the City remains free to all. Reservations are appreciated, but not required.
