Experience Oscar-winning film Amadeus as it was meant to be heard. The BSO performs the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart live with the film, intensifying the rivalry, emotion, and spectacle of this cinematic classic.

• The film draws entirely on the music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, carefully selected and edited to serve the drama rather than presented as complete concert works.
• Familiar excerpts — from operas, symphonies, and sacred works — are recontextualized, revealing how Mozart’s style adapts across genres and dramatic settings.
• The score’s close synchronization with dialogue and pacing makes music an active narrative force throughout the film.

• Dialogue and sound effects are played through the hall's sound system. The orchestra performs the musical score live. Subtitles are provided.
• Approximate run time: 2 hours with a 20-minute intermission.
• Late seating is not guaranteed, and will happen at the discretion of the front of house manager.
