The 2026–27 Season opens with fanfare as BSO Music Director Jonathon Heyward welcomes five-time GRAMMY® Award–winning jazz vocalist Samara Joy for the annual celebration of the BSO’s work across Maryland, including education and community programs. Joy will sing unique twists on timeless classics from Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, and more.

Expect unforgettable moments and special guests, including talented student musicians from BSO OrchKids and the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestras.
